By entering Recycle Warehouse, browsing, or making a purchase, all customers, visitors, program participants, and accompanying persons agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Entry & Security
  • Recycle Warehouse reserves the right to inspect bags, backpacks, boxes, trolleys, prams, tool bags, or personal items upon entry and/or exit.
  • Large bags may be required to be left at the sales counter or designated area.
  • Refusal to comply may result in refusal of entry or request to leave the premises.
  • CCTV operates on-site at all times for safety, security, and loss prevention.
2. Condition of Goods
  • All goods are second-hand, recycled, salvaged, refurbished, or clearance items.
  • Items may show signs of age, wear, cosmetic damage, or prior use.
  • All items are sold as-is, except where required under Victorian Consumer Law.
  • Customers are responsible for inspecting items prior to purchase.
3. Warranties & Consumer Guarantees
  • No warranties are offered beyond those required under Victorian Consumer Law.
  • Recycle Warehouse will meet all statutory consumer guarantees where applicable.
  • No additional warranties are provided unless explicitly stated in writing.
4. Returns, Refunds & Store Credit
  • No refunds are offered for change of mind, incorrect selection, or items no longer required.
  • Where an item is defective and covered under consumer law, Recycle Warehouse may offer repair, replacement, or store credit at management’s discretion.
  • Cash refunds are not offered unless required by law.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns or credits.
5. Electrical Items, Tools & Equipment
  • No testing of power tools, garden equipment, machinery, or electrical items is permitted without staff assistance.
  • Customers must not plug in, operate, or start equipment without permission.
  • All electrical items should be assumed to require inspection or servicing prior to use.
6. Damage to Stock & Property
  • Any item damaged, broken, or rendered unsaleable by customers, children, program participants, pets, or persons under their care must be paid for in full by the responsible party.
  • Accidental damage does not remove payment responsibility.
7. Children, Supervision & Safety
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Recycle Warehouse is a working warehouse environment with heavy items, machinery, forklifts, and uneven surfaces.
  • Climbing, running, or playing on stock or equipment is strictly prohibited.
  • Recycle Warehouse accepts no responsibility for injury resulting from lack of supervision.
8. Pets
  • Pets must be under control at all times.
  • Owners are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pet.
  • Management reserves the right to request removal of any animal posing a safety or operational risk.
9. Workplace Behaviour, Respect & Zero Tolerance Policy
Recycle Warehouse is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for staff, customers, volunteers, and program participants.
  • Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or abuse of staff is not tolerated
  • Offensive, threatening, or aggressive language or behaviour is prohibited
  • Racially motivated comments or conduct will not be tolerated
  • Discrimination or derogatory comments relating to a person’s appearance, clothing, style, gender expression, cultural background, or ethnicity are strictly prohibited
  • Mocking, belittling, or inappropriate commentary directed at staff or others will result in immediate action
Any person engaging in the above behaviour may be:
  • Refused service
  • Asked to immediately leave the premises
  • Reported to authorities where appropriate
No warnings are required where behaviour is deemed unsafe, discriminatory, or abusive.
10. Safety, Forklifts & Restricted Areas
  • Forklifts and machinery operate on-site.
  • Customers must remain in designated safe areas.
  • Staff-only, loading zones, and restricted areas must not be entered.
  • Follow all signage and staff directions at all times.
11. Right to Refuse Service
Recycle Warehouse reserves the right to refuse service, limit purchases, cancel transactions, or request any person to leave the premises for safety, behavioural, compliance, or operational reasons.
12. Liability Disclaimer
  • Entry to the premises is at your own risk.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recycle Warehouse is not liable for loss, damage, or injury resulting from misuse of items or failure to follow safety instructions.
13. Acceptance of Terms
Entry into Recycle Warehouse constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
